About Us
Silver Leaf Farms was bought in 1880 by Joachim Schultz. In 1909 Eliza
Schultz choose to register the farm with the state of Minnesota under the
name Silver Leaf Farm. In 2002 Wayne and Yvonne built their earth home
on the hill in the back pasture. In 2006 Joe and Erin bought the original
home place making Erin the 6th generation on the farm and her son being
the 7th. Both places are run under Silver Leaf Farms.
We are into sustaining our farm using organic practices however, we are not
currently certified organic. We do raise our animals and produce without
harmful chemicals and make sure that we replenish the land by rotational
grazing our animals and putting nutrients back in the soil with compost that is
from our farm. All of our animals are free range, we use natural methods for
treating heath issues, and treat them with the respect and care God
intended. We believe that quality and not always quantity will produce
abundance in life.

miles.
Watch for the red house on the East side. House number 32014.
From Highway 12:
Go North on CSAH 34 (turn by Cenex) and go about 7 miles (through
intersection and over bridge).
Look for the red house on the East side. House number 32014.
